Announcing a New Morrison Branch, Continuing Growth Across the Region
July 31, 2026 MORRISON, Ill. — Citizens First Bank is proud to announce plans to open a new full-service branch in Morrison, Illinois, this fall, marking an exciting milestone in the bank’s continued growth and commitment to serving communities throughout the region.
Located at 100 West Lincoln Way, the Morrison branch represents Citizens First Bank’s first new branch opening since 2004 and reflects the bank’s ongoing investment in local families, businesses, and agricultural customers. The expansion builds upon the bank’s established presence in Clinton and Camanche, Iowa, and continues the growth the organization has experienced throughout its 26-year history.
“Opening a branch in Morrison is truly exciting for Citizens First Bank,” said Stephen Clements, President and CEO. “For the past 26 years, we have focused on helping our customers and communities thrive. Morrison is a community with strong momentum, and we are excited to become part of that story.”
Since opening in 2000, Citizens First Bank has built its reputation on putting customers first while delivering innovative financial services with unmatched personal service. The new Morrison branch will offer a full range of personal, business, mortgage, and agricultural banking services, supported by local decision-makers and bankers who understand the communities they serve.
The branch will share its building with Fitzgerald Pharmacy, a locally owned community pharmacy known for providing personalized service and affordable care. Fitzgerald Pharmacy offers prescription services, immunizations, medical equipment, and other healthcare solutions delivered by experienced pharmacists and a friendly staff committed to exceeding customer expectations.
Luke Vander Bleek, owner and pharmacist at Fitzgerald Pharmacy, stated, “From the first moment I met the folks at Citizens First Bank, it was clear we shared the commitment to personal service and community. We’re very excited to give a warm welcome to our new neighbor Citizens First Bank.”
Beyond banking, Citizens First Bank is deeply involved in the communities it serves through partnerships with local organizations, schools, nonprofits, and community events that strengthen the region and improve quality of life.
Additional details regarding branch staffing and grand opening celebrations will be announced in the coming months.
