Website Login Update
Effective January 7, 2026, Citizens First Bank will introduce a small but meaningful update to our website login experience. This change adjusts the look and flow of the login screen, and we want to ensure users know what to expect. These updates are aligned with security best practices.
What’s Changing
- Username‑only login screen: The password field will be removed from the initial website login page. You will now enter only your username on the first screen. Your password will be entered on a secure follow‑up screen within the protected digital banking environment.
- “Open an Account” link removal: The “Open an Account” option will no longer appear within the website’s digital banking login area. This link will still be available throughout the website and inside the digital banking app—just not on the login screen.
- The digital banking platform and mobile app will continue to function as before.
Why This Matters
Passwords are entered within the secure digital portal. Remember to never share your password or other login credentials. Keep your guard up with your personal financial information!
We hope you’ll notice a cleaner, more streamlined screen. Your login process remains simple and familiar.
