Citizens First Bank Hosts Free Community Shred Day

Citizens First Bank invites the community to its annual Community Shred Day on Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the bank’s Lincoln Way location (1442 Lincoln Way, Clinton).

A long-standing tradition at Citizens First Bank, Shred Day provides a free, convenient way for individuals to securely dispose of personal documents that may contain sensitive information. On-site shredding allows participants to watch their documents being destroyed, helping protect against identity theft and fraud.

Community members are encouraged to bring outdated personal paperwork such as bank statements, canceled checks, credit card statements, loan documents, and other records containing personal identifying information. This service is intended for individuals only; no business documents, please.

Traffic will enter the parking lot from Lincoln Way to ensure smooth flow during the event.
